Communication is important in human live. Without communication, human can do nothing. Today, we can see the human communicate trough internet. Communication through internet increase with the growth of broadband wireless technologies It happen caused increasing of demand for high speed, in internet access to make the user easily to communicate as fast as they can. Talk about broadband wireless, let’s we compare with three type of wireless. The three of them are the Wireless Personal Area Network (Bluetooth- IEEE 802.15.1), Wireless Local Area Networks (WiFI- IEEE 802.11n) and Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WiMAX – IEEE 802.16).




WIMAX-IEEE 802.16
First, talk about Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WiMAX – IEEE 802.16). what is the meaning of WIMAX? From the source, WIMAX is a telecommunications technology that provides for the wireless transmission of data in a variety of ways, ranging from point-to-point links to full mobile cellular-type access. The technology is based on the IEEE 802.16 standard (also called WirelessMAN). The name of WIMAX was created by the Forum, formed in June 2001. The Forum was described ‘WIMAX’ as "a standards-based technology enabling the delivery of last mile wireless broadband access as an alternative to cable and DSL".
From the information, WiMAX technology supports higher speed as 70Mbps and a range of WiMAX up to 48 kilometers. WiMAX allows higher data rates over longer distances, efficient use of bandwidth and avoid interference almost to a minimum. It also provides high speed mobile data and telecommunications service. It also providing a diverse source of internet connectivity as part of a business continuity plan .Beside, the costs to install a WiMAX station in conjunction with an exiting cellular tower or as a solitary hub are cheap compare to developing wired solution.
But the price of broadband internet connectivity is too expensive.





WiFI- IEEE 802.11)

WIFI is a type of wireless. The meaning of WIFI is a wireless LAN (WiFi) is data transmission system designed to provide location-independent network access between computing devices by using radio waves rather than guided medium. The speed WIFI at the standard offered is around 108Mbps. Take a look at the range feasibility for WiFi,from the information, it also depands on the environment. The range is about 150-300 feet for the typical indoor. But for the outdoor range is about 1000 feet.

At the same time, it also has the weakness of their behavior. Their weakness, such as it has same properties as non-switches wired when it transmits in the air. Second, the typical range also will affect interferences with radio transmissions. Look at the data rate of WiFi, it is the highest, between 54-108Mbps.

Bluetooth- IEEE 802.15.1
Besides the others, the usage of Bluetooth or Wireless Personal Area Network (Bluetooth- IEEE 802.15.1), is also popular today. We can see the usage of Bluetooth when the mobile device are connected when the other device comes in their range of one mobile device, this is one of the technology are used today.
The range of Bluetooth is about, between 20 feet to 15 meters. But its range also depends upon the environment. The performance is also may drop when operated at the limit of range. The data rate for Bluetooth is slowly (2-6 Mbps). Look at the data rate of Bluetooth, it is to slow, between 2-6 Mbps. But Bluetooth can access anywhere. It is easy to bring anyway in it very light and less cost.
